MOEBE is looking for a talented design student to join our Copenhagen Office from January 2020. Is that you? The internship lasts over a period of at least 6 months, and is a paid position. Salary commensurate with experience.

About MOEBE:

MOEBE is a young danish design studio formed in 2015 that creates furniture and objects for the everyday. Our passion lies in the belief that good design in itself can be sustainable. We don’t believe in single use products, furniture that only suits a trend, or quality that doesn’t last.

Our products are designed with modularity in mind, they are component-based and can be repaired, assembled and recycled with ease. We strive to reduce our designs to their most simple forms. Developing new details and techniques for bringing different materials and elements together.

About the position:

We are seeking a new team member with exceptionally strong design skills to assist and on occasion lead in the development of new products and creations. You should be able collaborate with a range of design disciplines, and equally be able to take on individual tasks with initiative.

As part of our design team, you would have the opportunity to gain influence and responsibility for your own tasks.

You would:

• Work In close collaboration with the rest of the design team, to help create new products and projects.
• Further develop existing products and collaborations.
• Develop graphics , catalogs, press material, presentations and graphics for packaging, etc.
• Research material types and develop construction techniques in collaboration with our producers.
• Participate in photo sessions, exhibitions and design shows both in Denmark and Internationally

We expect that you are:

• ​Able to take initiative, and be outgoing.
• A talented designer with a strong portfolio
• Have an eye for detail and a wish to develop simple functional design.
• An experienced user of Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• You have a minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent amount of study.​
