We are looking for a CTO with 5+ years experience who's a full-stack web developer and expert in Python, web security, scalable applications, leading a developer team, and most of all interested in building the the future of smart home automation. You will be working closely with the entire team of founders, developers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire development department

• Work closely with the founders and other developers/designers

• Build the G13 backend securely and scalable

• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes

• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

Skills

• Expert in full stack web development

• Expert in Python and building highly secure and scalable backend applications

• Expert working with Linux

• Ability to write clean and well-documented code in Python, Javascript ES6, HTML and CSS

• Expert in backend and frontend deployment.

• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts

• Expert in leading a team of developers and designers

• Experience with automated testing suites

• Extensive experience with backend development and deployment

• Optional: Experience with native iOS and/or Android development

• Optional: Experience with ReactJS and/or React Native

• Ability to work well with others
