The job

Blusense Diagnostics is seeking intern join the microfluidic cartridge team. You are outstanding student or recent graduate with knowledge of microfluidic solutions.

The intern must be able to learn quickly, creatively solve problems, and efficiently execute complex experiments. We are looking for experimentalists with a deep understanding of microfabrication, and hands-on experience in developing optical solutions for microfluidic devices.

You will be designing and testing solutions for cutting edge-microfluidic consumables, making prototyping on in-house laser cutting and CNC machining equipment. Creating CAD models, prototyping and performing functional testing.

 

Your responsibilities

As a microfluidics Intern you will

· Collaborate with the Cartridge development teams on the design of next generation Virotrack cartridge products

· Assist planning and execute device characterization experiments

· Perform data analysis and technical reporting

 

Your qualifications

· Currently studying or recent graduate from Masters level program in microsystems or biomedical technology equivalent program.

· Demonstrable knowledge in microfluidic device design

· Strong CAD experience preferably with Solidworks or similar

· Competent user of 2d vector drawing programs (Illustrator, AutoCAD, Corel or similar)

· Knowledge of rapid prototyping processes such as CNC machining and/or laser cutting

· Industry experience an advantage

 

Your personal skills

· Fluency in English, both verbally and strong technical reporting

· Ability to take initiative and have a proactive approach

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Focus on communication with relevant internal stakeholders

· Motivated to continuously learn
