Memorix is a startup aiming to revolutionize education by learning in a Virtual Space. On our platform students create ‘Memory Palaces’ inside a 3D world to memorize easier. The learners are supported by an AI engine that is based on behavior and learning patterns. It is an exciting new product at an early stage and perfect for you to make an impact.

We are looking for a game designer intern who helps us realize our vision of playful learning, bringing Memorix to the next level of emotional engagement. We are soon launching at universities across Denmark and need you as soon as possible.

Our office is at the Symbian co-working space in Østerbro, which means you will be working in a vibrant and highly creative atmosphere within a small team.

As a team, we believe in a collaborative working style with a bias towards rapid prototyping, user testing, and an empathy-driven approach with a strong interest for our users and their needs.

We’re looking for someone who:

• has knowledge about game mechanics and how they can drive behavior

• knows how to deeply engage users, going beyond simple points, badges, leaderboards

• has a data-driven mindset, can analyze data, run tests and iterate

• is self-motivated, innovative and detail oriented

• knows on how to involve and inspire others

• enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Examples of your tasks:

• Develop a deep understanding of the players’ needs and motivations.

• Finding new opportunities of bridging learning and playing

• Working closely with data scientists to make conclusions on user behavior

• Turning input from our UX researcher into exciting new components

• Being instrumental in making Memorix ‘sticky’ and so reaching our user engagement goals

We imagine that you are currently studying Game Design or the like. Your internship should be part of your studies. It is full-time and for 3-6 months. We are flexible with start and end dates.
