What’s Copenhagen Fintech?

We are a non-profit organisation, looking to elevate new nordic innovation. We started 3 years ago, and have been on an incredible growth journey along with the Nordic Fintech ecosystem. In building an innovation ecosystem we by design need to do many different things with many different stakeholders to make an impact - in essence we have four main areas where we operate. First, we incubate and accelerate startups at Copenhagen Fintech Lab (120+ Fintech startups live(d) with us) and our various programs (early to late stage). Secondly, we foster corporate-fintech innovation with our corporate partners which includes 40+ Nordic and Global financial institutions and other partners. Thirdly, we build a thriving fintech hub with a global network of partners. Lastly, we both craft our own insights for the industry as well as support innovation from academia and R&D.

Who are Copenhagen Fintech?

We are a small International team of 10 people with different backgrounds but all with a passion to supporting entrepreneurs and innovators. What’s the role?

As ecosystem builders there’s great overlaps and synergies between the four activities that we do - we are therefore careful to not box-in and isolate ourselves in our roles. The role we are looking to fill is for a person who can strengthen our team within corporate-fintech innovation in close dialogue with our corporate partners. This involves working with our 40+ corporate partners that are all looking to be part of and benefit from the fintech ecosystem. Your responsibility areas would include:

• Be in continuous dialogue with our partners to understand what their innovation needs are

• Help our partners formulate use cases and identify opportunities for creating meaningful engagements with startups

• Run various projects for our partners such as startup scouting, global delegation trips and development of innovation capabilities

• Work strategically on how we might best help and engage with our partners to make an impact

What are we looking for in candidates?

We are looking for candidates that both fits our values and someone that will both challenge and complement how we work as team. It is definitely a plus if you have experience from the financial sector but not a requirement. We are an international team, so expect you to be comfortable communicating in English.

• You are entrepreneurial by nature, and thrive in entrepreneurial environments

• You are well-versed in corporate innovation and ideally at the startup-corporate engagement models

• You are a team player and feel comfortable taking on the role of trusted advisor for our corporate partners

• You are not afraid of rolling op your sleeves and to work with hands on events alongside strategic innovation projects
