CHOOOSE is looking to bring on board a premium Social Media Strategist to develop paid and non-paid social media and content strategies, in order to grow our subscriber base as well as manage our climate positive community.
Option to work in our Oslo office or remotely but with no more than 3h difference from CEST timezone.
Our ideal candidate is a professional with international experience and with a data-driven mindset to create, distribute and optimize social media campaigns that bring the best results. You should also demonstrate creative thinking and writing ability, community building skills with high interest in combining climate action with culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
- Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers both B2C and B2B.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
- Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
- Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts.
- Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with company’s overall marketing campaign plan and channels.
- Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
- Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues, community management and acting as customer support in social channels.
- Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive social media plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
- Constantly learn to remain highly effective and push the brand forward.
- Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing and SEO.
- Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

- Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
- Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Maintains excellent English writing and language skills.
- Ability to successfully create and manage influencer and ambassador programs.
- Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
- Possesses understanding of social media campaign management and optimization practices.
- Monitors the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance.
- Practices superior time management.
- Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
- Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social.”
- Demonstrates winning social customer service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution.
