Over the past years we’ve built one of Europe’s largest platforms to take the hassle out of buying or selling cars. Our apps and websites are used by millions of consumers in 12 European countries and even more consumers see AutoUncle via integrations on brand websites such as Hyundai, Renault, Kia, Audi as well as hundreds of dealership websites. 

Your job as User Experience designer at AutoUncle will be to lead the design thinking of creating hassle-free experiences for consumers and professionals across all platforms (web, iOS, Android and emails). You will collaborate closely with AutoUncle’s three development teams and spend your time with a mix of driving your own projects and assisting others with what they work on. 

The Job 

Your day-to-day work will involve: 

• Describe solutions and design ideas in low fidelity

• Participating in Scrum events (we’re a big believer in feedback and dedicate time to retrospectives)

• Hands-on design and implementation of interfaces (to the extent that you are capable)

• Consulting colleagues on how to improve User Experience in what they work on

• Develop a stronger expression of AutoUncle’s brand (on mobile/desktop web, apps and integrations such as hyundai.dk)

• Conducting user tests

• Design A/B experiments that lifts conversions and improves engagement

• Learn about stakeholders in different contexts (consumers looking for a car, professionals selling cars, colleagues working directly with customers and so on)

• Research inspiration from other platforms

• Lead the development of internal design guidelines

To be a qualified candidate for this position, we expect that you:

• Can manage your own time and energy well (project management experience is a plus)

• Are able to convey ideas clearly (written and visual)

• Are naturally curious and want to learn

• Enjoys working in fast-paced environments where you are expected to be ambitious and have impact 

• Have a portfolio of design projects or similar (we’d like to see what you can do)
