 The opportunity

In this position you will join a startup in an exciting growth phase, where you will have direct and tangible influence on the internal and external reporting of KPIs and OKRs. It will be your responsibility to define, measure, analyse and communicate a significant part of our product performance in close collaboration with the Director of Product Intelligence.

As a Business Analyst at Cobiro you will ensure that the organisation understands and learns from the insights you deliver. 

We are looking for a talented business analyst to join our BI team who loves working with data - parsing, analyzing, investigating, interpreting, modeling, and extracting knowledge from large volumes of data to drive informed decision-making across the company. You thrive in the cross-section of research and entrepreneurship. 

Responsibilities

You will be asking questions, driving insights and solving problems across the organisation. The team leads ambitious projects, interacts regularly with our leadership, tech, finance, and marketing teams, and develops key strategic frameworks and models for all business areas. If you want to make a difference, grow your technical skill set, and gain valuable experience in a cross-functional team environment, we would love to meet you.

You will drive and develop reporting and analytics activities related to business growth, product performance, user behaviour, analytics and competitor intelligence, working with data from many different sources.

• To maintain and develop end-to-end performance dashboards for demand creation, sales performance, opportunity analysis, etc.
• Support decision making across the organisation and ensure the business continues to make informed decisions.
• Analysing operational data and reviewing cost assumptions to ensure high accuracy of reporting.
• Supporting partnership development with commercial business cases and future revenue projections. 

Your Knowledge and Skills:

• You have at least 2 years of experience with quantitative analysis, SQL, and business metrics. If you understand web data and user tracking it will be considered a plus. 
• We would like to speak to candidates who have the following strengths:
• Solid experience with MySQL (Joins, views, subquery)
• Attention to details and data quality
• Impactful visualisation of data
• Strong communication skills in oral and written English
• Expert user of Google Sheets and Excel
• You have experience with data analysis tools, like Tableau or PowerBI
• Innovative, results-driven and highly motivated
• Works well under pressure
• Experience with data analysis in Python or R is a plus
• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
