We are looking for an expert lead frontend web developer interested in building the G13 platform that makes smart home automation easy. You will be working closely with the entire team of founders and developers. You will need the ability to build pixel perfect UI for the platform, as well as co-architect the infrastructure and backend for our integrated smart home system. The backend is a mix between NodeJS Express and Python.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the founders and other developers
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth web UIs
• Build the G13 backend securely and scalable
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

Skills

• Expert in full stack web development
• Ability to write clean and well-documented Javascript ES6, HTML and CSS
• Extensive experience in writing scalable and secure backend applications
• Experience with Polymer UI
• Experience with NodeJS Express
• Experience with Git
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage, Redux, Realm etc. 
• Experience with automated testing suites
• Extensive experience with backend development and deployment
• Optional: Experience with native iOS and/or Android development 
• Optional: Experience with ReactJS and/or React Native
• Ability to work well with others
