And right now we are looking an IT development intern who wants to deepen their Java native app development skills. We want to grow as a team and build the best product we can, so we are not only looking for a short internship deal but want someone who might want to join us and own a bigger share of our venture.


What we do:

PackitUp is a social network for travellers all around the world. You can find travel buddies and people to meet up with by posting trips on a map-based interface. By browsing the trips or creating your own, you can find travellers, check out their profiles and get in touch with an in-app messenger. PackitUp consists of three platforms: iOS, Android and a web app.

 

What we are looking for:

We want one or two development interns to work with us on improving our native app on Android. Knowledge about Java, API implementation and libraries are a bonus, but a drive to work with us as a team, continuously learn and develop an outstanding platform is what we are mostly looking for

 

This is what you will be dealing with:

  • Java Android native app development
  • Amazon web services
  • Amazon notification services
  • API and library integrations
  • Firebase databases

We are located in Copenhagen, but if you are traveling the world or located elsewhere, we have a ton of experience in our virtual office and welcome nomads from anywhere on the team!
