Community Team Intern (Scandinavia)

Salary Competitive

SOUNDBOKS is an emerging young audio tech company. You may have seen us at your favorite music festival, street party, in the Sahara Desert or on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We build the loudest, most durable, and arguably the coolest Bluetooth speaker on the market. We’re a product-first company, but we’re far from traditional. Our work environment is dynamic, empowering and exciting. And that’s not code for demanding, thankless and overwhelming.

ROLE: PAID COMMUNITY INTERN (SCANDINAVIA)

TEAM: COMMUNITY TEAM

START DATE: JUNE 1ST – OCTOBER 1ST

With over 50 employees in Los Angeles and Copenhagen, SOUNDBOKS is equal parts seasoned professionals and passionate unconventionals. We’ve got an awesome thing going, and it’s only getting better.

As a community intern you will be one of the faces of our company as we interact with SOUNDBOKS owners of our growing online community. At SOUNDBOKS we believe that people are our greatest asset and so we are obsessed with our community. From answering technical questions to building relationships with our most active community members, the Community Team truly is the heart and soul of our company.

Your key responsibilities will consist of:

  • Zendesk: Handling assigned incoming EU message requests on Zendesk. This includes answering messages, solving customer cases directly or in some cases forwarding messages to the correct department within SOUNDBOKS.
  • Repairing & replacing products: Ensure fast handling of repair, exchange and return requests.
  • Facebook & Instagram comments: Replying to Facebook/Instagram comments on posts and ads in line with our branding guidelines, as well as pairing relevant departments with corresponding information from such comments.

In order to succeed in the role as our Community Team Intern, we expect you to have:

  • Great communication skills: this position requires a lot of talking and writing – we want to make sure that you are comfortable talking with strangers and handling difficult cases in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Language (Danish): Our communities are run in their geographically corresponding languages, thus we will need you to be able to communicate in Danish.

Intrigued? With us you get more than a paycheck, you get to become part of a team that stands on each other’s shoulders in pursuit of a shared vision. We do not care what you look like, if you are introvert or extrovert, or if you dress up squirrels as a side business. However, we do care greatly that you are confident in your own capacity, willing to push beyond your comfort zone, and believe in a collective approach to success. If you’re tired of all of the noise in the job market, we’d love to hear from you. This may be the coolest job you ever have.
