Role & responsibilities

The goal of the Brand & Product Ambassador Program is to establish the brand image and product understanding at universities across Europe. As a Brand & Product Ambassador (BPA) you are a student and will become the local face of the brand at your campus. You are responsible for building and managing the brand at your university, and winning new subscribers via a strong product trial program.

As a BPA you will become part of a startup with big possibilities, and work with a passionate and driven team. The Lix culture is all about being first movers and pushing boundaries. In Lix, there is room for creativity, independence, bottom-up thinking and the opportunity to develop your project management skills.

Lix BPAs value flexibility over a 9 to 5 job, and love to work in an atmosphere where no days are alike. The working hours will differ from month-to-month depending on the business needs and the user group availability. August and September are high seasons, with more work expected. You’ll be expected to work 10 hours per week on a yearly average. 

The work takes place on and around your campus, with occasional travel to the Lix headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.  


Managing the Lix brand at your campus includes the following responsibilities:

Be a brand & product ambassador:

  • Represent the brand through everyday interactions with students to build trust and long-term loyalty. 
  • Facilitate a strong campus network while establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders (faculty, student unions and professors) and student opinion leaders.

Be a true expert on your campus: 

  • Share local insights, trends and overall opportunities, supporting our User Experience Design Team to understand student needs and behaviors.
  • Stay updated on both the social and academic calendar & timetable.

Drive product trial to grow user base:

  • Be in front of students at the right time and place to showcase product benefits in innovative and credible ways. Engage students with the objective to add value to their study life.
  • Be a product expert and stay updated on new features — get feedback from the students and listen to improvement suggestions. 

Project management

  • Build a Campus Plan on when and how to engage students throughout the school year.
  • Drive brand awareness and excite students with unique brand building activities to bring the Lix brand to life on campus.
  • Implement micro-influencer program at your campus, inviting a variety of influential groups and individuals on campus to generate/share authentic, relevant and relatable content.


Requirements

University Student (Business & Economics)

  • Preferably in your 2nd or 3rd semester with solid knowledge of your campus

  • Charismatic, energetic, likeable and outgoing personality
  • You can interact with everyone, and can easily “Win Others Over”!

Entrepreneurial mindset with a ‘can do’ attitude

  • You know your campus inside out and are able to exploit that knowledge to create new opportunities

Professionally independent

  • You are able to work independently, are reliable and self-motivated

An outstanding speaker with English skills

  • Superior verbal communication skills
  • You are inspirational and know how to engage one person or an entire audience!
