UI Visual Designer for App Development

We are looking for a UI Visual Designer to work closely with our team, under the guidance of our CXO Chief Experience Officer.  You will especially get this special chance to work alongside and learn from a very experienced and very cool CXO who has recently re-located to Malmo all the way from California!

With IMPACTR, you will have the chance to be with us from the very beginning and have a real stake in building something very significant! 

Innovative design is an absolute priority for us and this key role in our startup is to creatively collaborate to develop and build the visual design of our social app. Think radical but intuitive, we are exploring new paradigms to create the cutting edge.

When we build the design system it is a living document, hence this person understands designing for screens and designing for technology, they understand break points and they understand technical boundaries.

This visual designer would ideally have a full understanding of Sketch and Zeppelin and other tools such as Adobe Xd that communicate ideas and translate their design to developers. They may have established a full style guide before, including fonts, colour and components.  We are looking for an aesthetic mindset, someone who will make the designs look beautiful and match the brand, as well as a research mindset who finds usable insights to enhance the aesthetics.

As part of building this social revolution together, you will actively bring your ideas forward and be always curious, continuously researching and utilising the latest innovations in the design field.

We are open to those who have skills and experiences from different backgrounds that can be transferrable to our cause!  We believe skills can be learned but passion you are born with!

Career Growth Opportunity

Initially, this is a project-based freelance or internship role for 3-6 months, where we will build our first MVP and initial versions/iterations of the platform together as a project team. Depending on how things go during that time we could see a potential opportunity for a more permanent role in 9-18mths from now as the company grows.
