We’re looking for a driven and passionate Backend developer with great collaboration skills, who is result-oriented and proactive.

You will be part of a highly-skilled IT team, who work together in an informal, agile and ambitious environment. As our new Part-time Backend Developer, you’ll work on the development of our client and partner-facing platforms, used by thousands of clients and partners every day.

We’re passionate in everything from PHP/Laravel and Docker over MySQL and Elasticsearch to ES6, React and Redux. Here, we’re responsible for our own systems – if you built it, you run it – and we expect a lot from each other. 

Specifically, you will:

• Responsible for your own tasks 
• Write clean, well tested code to develop our API
• Work closely with our talented Developers
• Have the freedom to explore new technologies and contribute with your theoretical expertise

Requirements

You are eager to develop your coding skills and contribute to the growth of our fast-paced technology startup. Maybe you’re studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Web Development, Software Development, or another relevant field and are eager to use your learning in practice. To us, it is important that you are ambitious, pay attention to detail and love to code. We don’t expect you to have previous working experiences, but we expect that you are eager to develop yourself and learn quickly. 

• We think you may also be able to tick some of these boxes; if not we’ll help you get there: 
• Love to tinker with new technologies to move our stack forward 
• A curious mind, self-driven and a team player mentality
• Understand the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Hands on experience with programming languages like PHP/Laravel, Docker, MySQL
• Great collaboration skills and a fast learner

This is a part-time position of minimum 10 hours/week.
