Our ideal candidate has experience in growing communities within the youth/student segment and has excellent oral and written communication skills.  We are looking for a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Ultimately, as a Community Manager,  you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications. 

Skills and experience:

  • Proven work experience as a community manager in the youth/student space
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
  • Excellent communicator
  • Good listener
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to understand usage metrics
  • Up to date with trends
  • Language: Native English, additional languages is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop programs and events to boost user growth and brand awareness primarily in the United Kingdom
  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Interacting with users through customer support and SoMe
  • Capturing insights from users and distribute them to the team
  • Analyse and evaluate social growth activities
  • Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
