Primary Duties for the Art Specialist:

• Planning, organizing and implementing a range of program services and activities that prepare youth for success. 
• Direct encouragement in the participation of programs at the Club.
• Provide guidance and role modeling to members.
• Create and maintain a healthy and safe environment through supervising members in the program area. 
• Ability to work both independently and part of a team.
• Supervise and discipline of members participating in programs and services within the program area as well as through the Club as deemed appropriate.
• Implement goals, objectives, policy procedures, and work standards for assigned programs.
• Ensure quality improvement by monitoring and evaluating program achievement against target goals, recommending and implementing modifications that respond to member needs and interests. 
• Train and manage assigned volunteers and provide ongoing evaluation and feedback.
• Secure, maintain, and monitor materials, equipment and other resources belonging to the program area(s). 
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of program area(s).
• Submit a biweekly schedule outlining daily program activities to the Center Director.
• Reading and answering email promptly; carrying out directives by supervisor, communication of needs at least one week in advance for materials and supplies.
