You will be responsible for developing and managing Information Systems cyber security, policies, including disaster recovery, database protection and software development. 

As a part of the job, you will ensure security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise are meet. Implement procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards. Migrates non-compliant environments to compliant environments. Evaluates the organization to ensure compliance with standards and relevance with industry security norms. 

The position will report directly to the COO.

Responsibilities

• Keeping Blackwood Seven and customer information secure.
• Building and maintaining Information Security Policies.
• Ensuring that Information Security Policies are adhered to.
• Defining and guiding Blackwood Seven’s security strategy.
• Negotiating Information Security expectations with customers.

Requirements

• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001. (ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer Certificate is a plus)
• Experience with Risk Management (ISO 9001 is a plus).
• Understanding of IT Security.
