In 2018, Rainmaking and Talent Garden joined forces which created Talent Garden Rainmaking in Copenhagen. As we are growing and expanding, we are now looking for a Business Development Partner. The candidate will work closely with the Country Manager, Innovation School Director and Campus Director to bring various strategic corporate partners on board in Denmark and the Nordics.

The role goes beyond corporate sales. It is about building impactful corporate partnerships: creating various projects and education-based initiatives that help companies innovate and support the digital ecosystem.

As a Business Development Partner you:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Talent Garden’s corporate partnership cases and products, and articulate the value propositions, features, and benefits
  • Take full responsibility for managing and growing corporate partners portfolio
  • Achieve sales targets through strategic selling processes and adherence to sales plan
  • Show the ability to carry out the entire sales process activities: identify potential clients and their needs, develop proposals, present offers, negotiate, and turn these opportunities into partnerships
  • Establish new relationships and run appointments with customers' decision makers
  • Help to prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers
  • Supervise and coordinate project delivery serving as the interface between the client and the product & operations team
  • Develop and maintain awareness of the market and competitive trends, and respond accordingly
  • Work with the team and internal legal advisor to define contracts

Your Skills & Profile

  • You have an extensive national and/ or regional corporate network
  • You enjoy creating new corporate connections and turning them into big partnerships 
  • You feel at ease in delivering a presentation, communicating to a wide variety of audiences, and following up on essential administrative tasks
  • You accept no compromise both on sales target and on the quality of the sales
  • You can find innovative and creative solutions to match the market trends and client needs
  • In the midst of the work storm, you are not put off easily: you are the one maintaining self-control and taking challenges in your stride
  • You know how to have fun while you achieve your goals and make yourself available to the team for reaching common results
  • You like the world of innovation, tech, and education
  • You also feel confident about selling corporate training within innovation and technology

You always keep people at the center and you have:

  • At least 7 years of experience in business development, corporate sales and customer success roles
  • Superior people skills and ability to manage relationships
  • Revenue goals and impact-driven analytical mindset
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Tons of empathy in your pockets, ability to listen and identify partner's needs
  • Ambition to build exciting partnerships and achieve outstanding results

Talent Garden Rainmaking is located at Danneskiold-Samsøes Allé 41, 1434 København K.

Occasional traveling within Europe is required.
