INTERNSHIP: TEXTILE ENGINEER / DESIGNER

Are you a Textile engineer / designer or studying within the fields? Do you have a curiosity for design, technology och even robotics?

At Tendo, we are working from a holistic point of view and combines the best from Robotics, med-tech and industrial design with a focus on creating Independence for people, not their symptoms.  

Your job will be to support the team from time to time with textile concepts, fabric properties and prototyping - all with a clear focus on the user. 

You will be working closely with a team with various backgrounds in a fast-moving project.

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR  

  • Someone who can work independently, aren't afraid to contribute with own thoughts 
  • Someone with knowledge of textile types, mechanical properties, manufacturing and / or similar.
  • You are not afraid to work with rapid prototyping - sketch, prototype, test and iterate!
  • Excited to be a part of the start-up life
  • You are probable a student from an education within the field of textile engineering , fabric development or fashion designer

 

PRACTICAL DETAILS

 

  • We are looking for someone who wants to support the team part-time.
  • You will be working from home/school/coffeehouse/where ever you feel creative or with the team at Ideon Innovation - Ideon Science Park in Lund
  • The Internship is an unpaid learning experience
  • You will have access to 3D-printers, fabrics and other prototype material however limited access to workshop
  • Flexible hours!

We are currently a team consisting of seven people - four full-time workers and 3 interns and we are mainly located at Ideon Innovation.
