Are you a designer or studying within the fields of design? Do you have a curiosity for design, technology och even robotics? 

At Tendo, we are working from a holistic point of view and combines the best from Robotics, med-tech and industrial design with a focus on creating Independence for people, not their symptoms. 

Your job will be to support the team from time to time with concept development, workshops and prototyping - all with a clear focus on the user.

You will be working closely with a team with various backgrounds in a fast-moving project.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

  • Someone who can work independently, aren't afraid to contribute with own thoughts
  • You are interested in user oriented design, human behavior, and technology
  • You are not afraid to draw up some concept sketches
  • Excited to be a part of the start-up life 
  • You are probable a student from an education within the field of industrial design, art or product design engineering.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

  • We are looking for someone who wants to support the team part-time. 
  • You will be working from home/school/coffeehouse/where ever you feel creative or with the team at Ideon Innovation - Ideon Science Park in Lund
  • The Internship is an unpaid learning experience
  • You will have access to 3D-printers, fabrics and other prototype material

Grasp life with the support of Tendo – a soft exoskeleton, a robotic glove, which assist a person to grip, hold and release objects. It’s created for people who struggles with daily activities due to e.g.a a stroke or spinal cord injury. By combining the users voice with revolutionary robotics, Tendo helps people to regain their independence while addressing a global healthcare challenge by reducing the strain on the care sector and enabling users to contribute to society once again. We are currently a team consisting of seven people - four full-time workers and 3 interns and we are mainly located at Ideon Innovation.
