Kaffe Bueno is the 1st circular economy around coffee, combining coffee's waste with biotechnology to extract active ingredients inside it and use them in the cosmetic and nutraceutical industry. We're building Scandinavia's 1st coffee bio-refinery in September (1st of its kind in the world) and looking for more people to help us achieve our mission. Lots of things to do in the meantime. Come and help us, change the world one cup at a time !


At the moment, we are looking to scale up our processes and particularly our downstream processes. (Membranes, Chromatography, etc)

We are looking for someone (preferably with experience) in bioprocesses, separation and purification techniques and scaling ups that is able to help us with these tasks.

We developed 4 patent-pending processes to preserve and convert spent coffee grounds into high-value compounds. Our mission is to unlock coffee's health and commercial potential by taking advantage of the whole spectrum of its bioactive compounds. Our first product is Kaffe Bueno Oil® - an active ingredient for cosmetics within anti-ageing, sun protection, wound healing and moisturising applications. And we also produce Kaffe Bueno Flour® - an upcycled high-fibre, high-protein gluten-free flour. Our vision is to change people's perception of coffee - from looking at it as a tool to make it until the end of the day, to look at it as a sustainable health elixir.
