Instabox is a tech startup that wants to change the logistics industry. We think it should be easy to shop online and offer our customers a fast and smooth shipping service - all in order to make everyday life easier. We want our customers to be able to shop from any of our 20 e-commerce partners and pick up their products in one of our 200 smart boxes - all in the same day. Does this sound too good to be true? Might sounds so, but it is all possible by the fact that we are developing our own software. 

Instabox is a fast growing company and we are now looking for driven Developers who wants to be part of our journey - breaking new land within the fields of e-commerce and logistics. As a start up we are building our own systems and products from scratch, using modern technology for our cost-effective delivery method. Since we are developing our own technology we can control everything from architecture to technology choices. We break new ground on a daily basis and the aim has been set high.

Job Description

In order to continue to grow in the same pace, we are looking for Backend Developer who wants to build and develop our employer facing systems. You will be able to build our internal systems from scratch and influence they way we work at Instabox. Examples of internal systems are customer service and systems for scheduling and route optimization. It is simply about optimizing our workflows and systems so that we can continue to grow they way we do.

We are also looking for someone who can take on a team lead role, providing the right experience to the team. To fit in the role as a Lead Developer you like to work hands on with development, but also to lead and coach the team as well.

Techniques that are used are Nodejs and MongoDB and you will help to create API:s and the infrastructure that our systems needs. You will also be able to influence choices of techniques and system architecture. 

Instabox has its headquarters in Stockholm but has hubs located in Helsingborg, Gothenburg and Mantorp. As a step in our expansion we are starting a new department of developers in Gothenburg. In the role as Lead Backend Developer or Backend Developer you will be involved in building our new department and where you are given great responsibility. Together with your colleagues you will create something from scratch. You will work closely with our development team in Stockholm and report to the CTO.

Who we are looking for

• You love to code and think it is fun with responsibility and to create something from scratch. 
• You like to try new techniques and have a wide understanding of different systems and languages.
• It is an advantage if you have a Bsc or Msc in Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 5 years experience as a Backend Developer, and at least one year in a technical Lead role/ Project Manager (for the Lead role).
• Knowledge in Nodejs and MongoDB.
• Good English skills, oral and written.

You have good management skills and are comfortable working in a lead role.
