We are currently experiencing extensive traction, and are therefore looking for a Lead Frontend Developer with passion for both UX and application building, who can take a key role at our growing startup.

Your Role as Lead Frontend Developer

You will take a key role in the operation as:

• Designing great user experiences for our members 
• Setting the direction for creating scalable frontend solutions for marketplaces
• Implementing of the Frontend coding
• Supporting our CTO in making scalable solutions

Your skills

Skills we value in an applicant:

• Solid skills in a JS framework. Preferably Vue.js or React. 
  
• Experience working with frontend in AWS
• Experience in setting up the build environment of the frontend code. We are using Codebuild and Codepipeline in AWS and would want it integrated in that flow.
• Experience with server-side rendering of frontend resources.
• Experience with Typescript and test driven development in Javascript
• Obviously skills with HTML and CSS/SCSS or similar.
• Good communication skills
• A good sense of UI/UX best practices, and the ability to extrapolate a design based on guidelines rather than a finished design.
• Basic knowledge of common SEO best practices

Our current platform is built on the open source platform of Sharetribe (Ruby / RoR), and we are currently working towards a more scalable solution using serverless architecture in AWS.
