Part-time waiters/waitress’

We are looking for part time cafe staff for our café and beer bar at Matrikel 1!

Our fast growing start up community so far consisting of Matrikel 1, Founders House, Startup Village and Mesh (Oslo) which together services hundreds of start-up’s and provide co-working spaces for innovative companies, are looking for waiters/bartenders who are interested in becoming a part of a groundbreaking new quality concept centrally located in Copenhagen. 

Our newly opened café and beer bar offers a service concept aimed at innovative, high level customers in one of Copenhagen's most beautiful original buildings. 

Matrikel 1 offers both a private membership club, co-working spaces, restaurant, events, bar as well as being a unique networking hub hosting events for an ambitious startup scene in Denmark and internationally. 

You will primarily be associated with our cozy café with outdoor seating right next to the canals at Gammel Strand, but also work in our second bar and event department if needed.

The cafe will be open for breakfast, lunch and light dinner. In the evenings and on weekends the cafe and bar offers after-hour drinks and special beers, as well as light dinner.

About you:

• You work efficiently and pride yourself in being structured. 
• You are able to keep an overview and perform your tasks in a calm, professional and proper fashion.
• You consider it your utmost task that the bar and dining area looks it’s best morning, noon and evening.
• You never compromise on quality and you understand the importance of maintaining an overall high standard and atmosphere.
• When you encounter challenges you solve them effectively and with a smile.
• Service is in your blood, and guests and coworkers around you are infected with your positive and sparkling creature - a positive nature and the ability to talk to everyone is very important. 

We expect that you:

• Have a proven track record as a waiter and/or bartender, preferably a combination of both
• Your professional pride shines through everything you do, whether it's members' service or keeping your working areas clean, tidy and welcoming
• You are used to and comfortable in servicing a quality conscious audience
• Flexible and solution-oriented - even during busy times
• Is a positive and trustworthy host and colleague
