We are looking for a proficient back-end developer to join our team and lead development! As Lead Back-end Developer, you will be responsible for leading the tech team and development related to further development of the platform. You will take responsibility for new features and functionalities, and have the freedom to choose the technology stack. In this role you will also work hands-on with the entire product development process, prototyping and research, and style Scrum sprints.

Our first iteration is an innovative mobile app that reduces phone usage and helps you focus while giving you the opportunity to get free rewards. For every 20 minutes that you don't look at your phone, you earn points which can be exchanged for freebies, vouchers or discounts on products or services in the app's marketplace. The product already loved by thousands and has been featured by BBC, Telegraph, Times, Forbes, Business Insider and Buzzfeed. 

WHO YOU ARE: 

We're on the lookout for someone with:

• Experience in backend development (3+ years)

• Solid experience with Python (experience with Django / DRF preferred)

• Experience with cloud-based services (AWS or similar)

• Previous experience with building up infrastructure

• Experience with scaling up products or services

• Advantage if you have experience with mobile applications.
