Matter, previously Penstable, is a fintech startup founded in 2017. We are united by the idea that pension investments can and should make a positive difference to the world around us. Currently, we are a team of 7 full time employees and 2 students, and have launched a sustainable pension product in collaboration with our partner, Skandia.

We welcome applicants from all educational backgrounds, as long as you have a solid understanding of and a couple of years experience with:

• Relational and graph databases 
• Python and NodeJS
• Multiple paradigm experiences
• Continuous Integration, Deployment and Test-Driven Development 
• Infrastructural experience (we build in the AWS cloud with a microservice paradigm)
• Agile methodologies (we use Git, Jira and a Scrum-inspired approach)

As a person, you might be : 

• well-versed in engineering algorithms and systems from the ground up, and consider the specifics of language and frameworks as secondary elements to the task of creating good systems.
• a creative problem solver and enjoy discussing ideas that lie at the intersection between multiple disciplines that entail infrastructure, software architecture, fuzzy algorithms and data modelling.
