BluSense Diagnostics is developing the next generation of point-of-care testing for infectious diseases, focusing on mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and Zika. Our main product is a polymer consumable device that we assemble entirely in-house.
To ramp up production volumes of these polymer consumables and to strengthen our production team, we are looking for a Production Technician to work with us in our assembly line. We are offering a position within a fast-growing MedTech company, with operations in both Denmark and Taiwan.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a production technician, process operator or production support ideally in the medical device/pharma field. Previous experience in quality control processes is considered a plus.
Job description:
- Performing in-line process operations during assembly of our product such as assembly of polymer components, QC inspections, labelling, packaging
- Maintain logs related to production equipment and maintain inventory
- Compile production forms and batch manufacturing records with a high level of details
- Perform inspection of incoming goods
- Perform stock checking at regular intervals
- Cleaning/maintaining of production areas
- Interact with other team members toward the solution of problems and participate in work groups for continuous improvement
- Maintaining, reviewing and updating SOPs in production
- Be open and ready to help other teams such as R&D team when needed
Qualifications:
- Technical education background, with 2+ years of industry experience in a production environment
- Relevant work experience within production/assembly processes in the medical/IVD/microfluidic consumables industry
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
- Must be familiar with basic laboratory safety, GMP, ISO 13485:2016 and ideally have some previous experience in chemical or biochemical laboratory
- Relevant work experience within production/assembly processes in the medical consumables industry and/or previous experience as a production technician
