Intensive Training Program
With the support of Oslo Municipality's inkluderingstiltak, we are able to run our pilot training program to primarily teach refugees basic journalism skills, where they are able to storytell through text, photo, video and audio (podcast). We have partnered up with OsloMet's Value creation, innovation and entrepreneurship team (VIE) and Purple Dragons Collaborative Tale (filmmaking community).
We will start with a Kick-Off event on Saturday 20th October to gather at least 12 lucky candidates to our program to meet and greet. Teams will be formed to think about what topics they want to explore and storytell. Individuals who are more experienced could do their own projects.
Then a two-day intensive training begins on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th November at OsloMet. We expect that the candidates will already have a story to run by 24th November.
Dates to remember:
20th October : Kick-Off Day for Training Program
24th and 25th November : Seminars and Running Your Story
