Job profile :
The successful applicant will be a core part of the commercial team and be responsible for the market specific performance of our extensive partner portfolio. The candidate will be focused on hotel rate optimization via API integrations, destination management, new market growth strategies, data driven performance reporting, partner relationship management and continued profitable growth of said portfolio.
The ideal candidate has experience working with XML API integrations in the travel tech industry and will need strong commercial aptitude, sales skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
You'll have global scope and will work closely with suppliers, technology and product management teams to develop ambitious revenue strategies, aligned with our brand and business objectives. You will identify market trends, define a vision, share findings with senior management and execute.
Nustay is looking for someone who’s demonstrated: strong data-driven business decisions, exceptional relationship management skills and a tried and tested ability to deliver results under strict timelines.
Nustay operates on a global scale, the candidate Supplier Success Manager must have a global outlook and be ready to operate with partners in multiple time zones - with the charm, dedication and expertise to handle high value accounts.
You will also be expected to travel to meet partners, as well as representing Nustay at global trade events, including but not limited to: World Travel Market London, Arabian Travel Market Dubai and ITB Berlin.
Responsibilities:
• Analyse strength markets of core partners and strategically optimize key players to ensure hotel rate domination in every corner of the globe;
• Use data to identify, evaluate, and manage strategic business opportunities with significant potential to increase revenue;
• Dedicated attention to key partners to optimize accounts and develop strategies for market growth;
• Ongoing communication and reporting of partner performance;
• Co-develop a strategy with each supplier and stay aligned on goals, initiatives and targets to strengthen our external relationships;
• Develop acute understanding of the competitive landscape in the travel tech industry and act as a subject matter expert;
• Dedicated pursuit for perfection – any system errors, failed orders or sold out hotel rates being provided by partners must be immediately addressed and fixed;
• Analyse market potential to bring in specialized new partners, (for example local DMC’s in the Caribbean) and lead commercial development; including prospecting, negotiating, and project development with new partners.
What you bring to the team:
• At least 3-4 years of sales / account management / business development experience - preferably in the travel industry;
• Experience with travel technology – ability to read XML is a big plus;
• Extensive experience in identifying, prioritizing and implementing high-impact opportunities;
• Excellent communication, influencing, sales and relationship building skills;
• Strong analytical/modelling skills with ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights;
• Excellent verbal, written and data visualization skills are a must-have;
• Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner;
• Ability to prioritize among conflicting demands in a fast growth and fast action environment.
