Your Role as CTO and Co-founder of Wedio

You will take a key role in the operation as:

• Leading Full-Stack developer and architect
• In charge of setting the right technical team for the future

Your skills

We expect that you:

• have extensive experience with working with Ruby on Rails
• are both able to work backend, but also do some simple frontend developing
• have experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services
• are passionate about shaping the new tomorrow
• have a basic understanding of technical SEO 

Our current platform is built on the open source platform of Sharetribe (Ruby / RoR). You are expected to develop, test, deploy, bug fix and host based on Amazons Web services.

Wedio gives creatives the opportunity to access their desired gear and the financial flexibility in order to focus on their craft. Wedio provides creatives with the essentials in order to share gear safe and smoothly. This implies excellent insurance conditions, thorough user verification, a rating system, an easy suited communication system, a user-friendly platform, and a transparent environment.

We make renting easy. By promoting the listed gear and handling the formalities we encourage conveniency towards the owners. By gathering the supply of local gear in one marketplace, creatives are able to make quick and informed decisions when renting.
