Tidler makes car ownership hassle free by providing mobility solutions within the automotive industry. In essence, we take our customers' cars to and from the MOT (car inspection), tire change, car service, car repairs etc. The customer simply selects when and where they would like to hand over their car keys and we handle the rest.

Today we provide our services B2B with a few of the world’s largest car manufacturers, dealerships and fleet owners as our customers and shortly we will launch our consumer faced platform.

We're expanding rapidly and looking for a full-stack engineer to join our team. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and ideally have familiarity using Javascript throughout the stack. You'll be expected to get your hands dirty on disparate greenfield projects using the latest technology and practices while at the same time championing quality and reusability.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing new features using Typescript/Node/React on both frontend and backend
• Write code that is clear, understandable, testable and re-usable
• Work in a dynamic, collaborative, non-hierarchical culture where your talent is valued over a role title
• Research the latest tooling and technology and make recommendations on how we can benefit from their use
• Active role in defining our development processes

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of professional development experience
• Proven track-record of delivering high-quality work and and showing a high level of responsibility for all tasks
• Strong focus on code quality and long term maintenance
• Knowledge of software best practices like Refactoring, Clean Code, Encapsulation, etc
• Ability to communicate and work well within a small team
• Experience working with SQL, Redis, REST APIs
• Excellent spoken and written English, all day-to-day work will be in English
• Keen eye for detail

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Javascript-specific experience and skills
• Experience of Continuous Delivery, TDD, BDD, Infrastructure as Code, etc
• Experience/understanding of GraphQL (Apollo or Relay)
• Experience with Google Maps Platform APIs
