BackedByCFO is changing the rules of SME credit risk pricing based on payment behavior and alternative data sources. As a Co-Founder CTO, you will work closely with our B2B Customers and have a key role to execute our growth strategy. We are looking for a person with an entrepreneurial spirit, who has the passion for Python and may have utilized different API’s. You are ready to build on- and off-site teams in multi-language/cultures and understand the opportunities of the modern technologies.

Your responsibilities


To begin with, your primary responsibility is developing the algorithm, on backend code and building new API’s. We already have integration with Visma, an accounting software.  

Technical requirements

software development (C/C++/Java/Python/PHP/Scala/JavaScript

One or more released products,  two (2) years of server-side Python development experience 

Strong with backend and comfortable with front-end of web stack (Python/Django,  HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

What is seen as an advantage

understanding the opportunities of machine learning and blockchain

relevant previous work experience in a startup/scaleup

knowledge of relational databases and/or AWS

Finnish language skills
