Then you might be our new intern! The Sustainian is a new global media platform and strategic market guide for leaders working with the implementation of the 17 UN Global Goals while simultaneously operating in an increasingly disruptive business environment.

The Sustainian is developed and recently launched by Danish-based advisory group Sustainia in partnership with UN organizations and major corporations.

As an intern at The Sustainian you become part of an exciting and very ambitious workplace consisting of a small dynamic and growing team of journalists, analysts and researchers. The Sustainian and Sustainia’s office is located in the heart of Copenhagen and houses 25 employees with strong competencies in sustainability, project management, strategic consulting, analysis, communication and digital products.

Your profile

The internships for The Sustainian are open for students currently enrolled in a master’s degree. Your academic background is not crucial, what is important is that you hold excellent writing skills in English and thrive in an environment with tight deadlines and a large amount of writing tasks.

You:

· Have a strong drive

· Are able to juggle several projects at once

· Work independently

· Have proven strong communication skills

· Are genuinely passionate about sustainability

We are looking for candidates who have special expertise within the following areas:

· Journalism and storytelling: You have a special eye for translating complex data into compelling journalistic stories, and curate content according to the need of our global audience of executives.

· Media production and digital development: You have the technical know-how to set up, produce and post-process short films and interviews, and work strategically to reach the right audience across digital and social platforms.

· Research and analytics: You will be part of collecting and monitoring relevant sources, analyzing latest trends and opportunities within sustainability.

The details

The internship is a full time position (37 hours weekly) and runs from September 3rd 2018 to January 31st 2019. We can be flexible with the dates to match the beginning of your semester/term. During the internship, you will receive:

· 8,500 DKK per month + 12,5% vacation pay (pre taxes)

· 5 days paid vacation
