Responsibilities  

• Project management: Manage and report on large R&D projects with international project partners.

• Quality assurance: Oversee and control internal production, product development processes and products. Develop routines and processes for employees.

• Supply chain management: Communication with development partners, suppliers and subcontractors.

• Intellectual property management: Identify and secure intellectual property and expand Alva’s patent portfolio to maintain competitive advantages.

• Technical business development: Planning and incorporating visionary development plans and targets.

About the applicant

• You have a relevant engineering background (Ph.D., M.Sc., or similar)

• You have experience as a Sr. Engineer, Project Manager, head of R&D or similar.

• You are a good communicator in both English and Norwegian.

• You are structured, analytical, and have a business-mindset.

• You are curious by nature and an easy learner.

• You are interested in not just a job, but a personal project.

With a vision of accelerating the world's transition towards renewable energy production and mass-electrification of industry and transport, Alva's mandate is to rethink how we produce the electrical machines.
