The opportunity

As a AI Engineer at Cobiro you will work closely with our data science team in order to optimise the data pipeline flow and provide efficient data delivery. The position offers the opportunity to get responsibility and influence right from the very start.

Responsibilities include: 

• Design, implement and maintain our data infrastructure, supporting our small but growing data science team
• Incorporate analytic measures in architecture to aid with system monitoring/loggin
• Assist identifying Cobiro’s data needs
• Understanding of data driven pipelines, e.g. Lamda Architecture and/or experience with stream processing systems
• Close collaboration with both data science team and business analysts

Your skills

• M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field, or +4 years of related industry experience
• Hands-on experience in building highly scalable big data infrastructures using tools such as Spark Hadoop, Kafka, SQL, NOSql
• Knowledge of database design and efficient data retrieval
• Solid programming skills (the main language that drives our analytical tools is Python)
• Experience in working with large quantities of unstructured data
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Practical knowledge in deploying machine learning models in to production is a big plus
• Interest in machine learning and natural language processing is a plus
