As a student assistant for accounts receivable you will take care of invoice actions, debtor collector cases and making sure the money which should be coming in, is actually coming in. Ageras is looking for an ambitious student to support our finance team. As a student assistant for accounts receivable you will take care of invoice actions, debtor collector cases and making sure the money which should be coming in, is actually coming in. The role offers great responsibility, since your work will ensure faster and qualitative sound results for the entire company. You will work independently and will be handling and following up on debtors, bringing in the results and coordinate between different departments.

Specifically, you’ll: 

• Supporting in bookkeeping and keeping track of open invoices 
• Take action on debtors with outstanding debt by phone and mail in cooperation with our Partner Success Managers
• Follow each debt collector case from start to end, by communicating with the debtor collector company by phone and mail
• Help in improving the cash flow in the Netherlands by structuring and improving the debtor collection
• Make sure all invoices comply with our invoice policies
• Ad hoc support on projects in the finance department

This is a part time position of approximately 15-20 hours/week. You can expect to work during regular working hours (09:00 – 17:00). 

Requirements 

You are customer oriented and have very good customer service skills. When communicating with customers, you are friendly, but at the same time firmly. 

Maybe you are studying for a Bachelor's degree and are eager to use your academic knowledge in practice – maybe you have been working with customers before from another student job? To us, it is important that you are ambitious, with a sound business understanding, and have a strong will to develop.  

You also have: 

• Near-native Dutch language skills and conversational English language skills (additional German language skills are considered as a plus) 
• Basic economic understanding
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Excellent coordination skills
• A willingness to learn and adapt
• An independent and responsible approach to your work
• A focused, quality conscious and organized approach to your work
