Ageras is a disruptive, fast-paced company where you’ll play a part in building and improving the product.

As a Web Developer in our marketing team, you’ll build and maintain our website and user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS for the frontend and PHP/Laravel for the backend.

Specifically, you will:

• Use PHP and Laravel to develop cool features used by thousands of daily users
• Work closely with the CMO to maximize the potential of the website, for instance by initiating A/B tests and improving usability, speed and device scalability
• Turn visuals into reality by writing clean and scalable code
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

You’ll be working for the Marketing Team to improve the product, but also closely together with the Development Team currently consisting of 5 full time developers.

Requirements

You are:

You’ll join a highly specialized, international marketing team of lead-gen specialists, copywriters and analysts who all work to help grow our business in current markets. We’re a high-performance team – and we realize that marketing today, more than ever, is a data-driven approach to earn the trust of our customers and build long-standing relationships.

We think you’ve learned the trade from the bottom and are able to run the entire website development process from initial idea to coding to optimization. You know web development tech like HTML, CSS, Javascript and you have experience with Laravel or a similar PHP MVC framework.

We think you may also be able to tick some of these boxes; if not we’ll help you get there:

• Knowledge of Laravel or another PHP MVC framework
• Basic understanding of React or similar
• Knowledge of git
• Basic knowledge of design tools like Photoshop, Sketch etc.
• Basic knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization
• Good understanding of how to make SEO friendly code
• Basic knowledge of WordPress
• An eye for aesthetics and graphics design

This is a part-time position of 15-25 hours/week. With good performance and collaboration, the position can develop into a full time position.
