Payr is the next generation payment platform app empowering consumers to pay invoices in flexible and smart ways. Payr also improves invoice payments by analyzing what you pay, and then providing suggestions on cheaper or better providers of the same service or product. We provide truly independent price and quality comparison, and also enable simple and fast switching directly in our app. This makes it very simple for you to save money or get better value, or both!


Payr is building innovative online banking services for consumers and businesses. Our mobile payment app makes it easy and fast to pay invoices, with flexible payment sources like cards, e-money or any bank account. Based on data from paid invoices, we make it very easy to compare and switch to better or cheaper providers of electricity, mobile subscriptions, loans, insurance and more.  

We already have a great team in place. Now we need more driven customer service representatives to join us at our offices in Oslo.

We are looking for a customer service representative who possesses a passion for solving peoples problems efficiently, but with patience. You will be a vital part of building a complete new banking experience using the best and coolest technologies out there, and of course, a superb customer service team to go with it. Working together with product managers, service designers, graphic designers, testers and other engineers to make a product that you and the whole team can be proud of.  

Payr support should be easy to reach and deal with. Users can contact us through chat, e-mail or by phone. We take pride in always answering and actively helping to the best of our abilities.

The position is initially part-time during afternoon/evenings and weekends. There will be a possibility for more work during the summer and a full-time position down the line. We would like someone who could start ASAP, but we will evaluate candidates until the ad expires.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls, chats and emails
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Report bugs/problems and stay up-to-date on solution progress


Requirements:

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening 
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Norwegian and English
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Plus: 

  • Proven customer support experience or experience from the service industry
  • Experience using Zendesk customer support system
