Cobiro enables any business to setup and automate Google AdWords without prior experience and with minimal configuration. We're on a mission to make search engine marketing accessible to small and medium sized businesses, and unlike the industry standard - it is completely free to use. Cobiro is growing and we are looking for a Data Engineer to help our data science team optimize workflow and processes.

As a Data Engineer at Cobiro you will work closely with our data science team in order to optimise the data pipeline flow and provide efficient data delivery. The position requires that you are confident in taking on lots of responsibility from the very start.

Some of your key responsibilities will be to:  

• Design, implement and maintain our data infrastructure, supporting our small, but growing, data science team.
  
• Incorporate analytics measures in said architecture to aid with systems monitoring/logging.
• Assist in identifying our data needs, as our range of business related features increases.
• Possesses a good understanding of data driven pipelines, e.g. Lambda Architecture and/or has experience with building stream-processing systems.
• Work closely with both data science team and business analysts.

Your qualifications: 

• Have hands-on experience in building highly-scalable big data infrastructures using tools such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, SQL, NoSql etc. and has knowledge of database design and efficient data retrieval. 
• Solid programming skills (the main language that drives our analytical tools is Python).
• Experience in working with large quantities of unstructured data.
• Have strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Has a M.Sc. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent related industry experience, ideally specialized in distributed systems.
• Is fluent in English and/or Danish (written and oral)
• Practical knowledge in deploying machine learning models into production is a big plus.
• An interest in machine learning and natural language processing is a plus.
