We believe that it should be as easy to plan and book activities for outdoor enthusiasts, as it is for urban tourists. For that reason we developed an online platform dedicated to unlocking the adventures of the north. Nordic Adventours is making it simple to find adventure and outdoor activities all over the nordics. At the same time we give guides the tools to communicate effectively with their clients. Modern tools enable us to be remotely organised, but our base is Science Park in Jönköping.

Let me keep this short: Last august we launched the first version of our platform on NordicAdventours.com. We offer our partners who provide us with their activities the service to write all their company and activity descriptions for them. It saves them time and gives us the control of the content quality and SEO implications.

In the last few weeks we received so many request from companies that want to join our platform that we can not catch up with all the writing.

So that is what we need help with!

We are looking for you if...

• you are a student or somewhat part-time employed, we only have 10-20 hours of work per week to give right now 
  
• you are in love with outdoor sports, nature and/or adventure activities... And we really mean the "get up at 3AM to reach the mountain top with the sunrise"-nerdy kind of love. 
• the one thing you like almost as much as the mountains and the sea is WRITING
• you have very eloquent written English skills
• you are fluent in at least one Scandinavian language (German, Dutch or Emoji is a great advantage as well!)
• you have knowledge about SEO principles or are eager to learn them (sooner or later you will have to! :-) )
• you are motivated to take initiative, bring forward own ideas and work independently
• you are willing and able to work mostly from wherever you are, or in Jönköping’s Science Park



The job

... evolves around creating detailed descriptions about companies that provide outdoor tours and activities. This includes:

• the writing part, of course
• research about the activity and /or the location (the information we receive can be very limited)
• communication with the providers via phone or email to clarify questions
• keyword research and semantic SEO optimisation
• sometimes meeting the providers, getting interviews and test some of their activities (jep, that is the best part, we know.)
• If we ever run out of companies to onboard there is plenty of other cool stuff to do for the marketing team. For example: write blog posts, design infographics, edit pictures or cut videos
