About IndieFrame:
IndieFrame is an independent digital distribution platform that brings content, creator and the global media closer together. By supplying user-generated content from around the globe, the media will get stories through photos, video and words from local people. In giving situations more voices and perspectives and by letting people push stories, which they believe should be in the media, IndieFrame aims to participate in the democratisation of media. In facilitating local stories, IndieFrame helps circumvent despotic regimes and corrupt media outlets and break the monopoly of established corporations in telling stories. At the same time, the platform provides an opportunity for local people to generate a small income, by letting the author keep 80% of earnings.
Independent project:
IndieFrame is constantly trying to expand its network of users around the world. If you have an idea for a country, where IndieFrame's network can be expanded, you can be in charge of your own project from beginning to end under the guidance of IndieFrame staff.
Submit an idea for how to expand IndieFrame's idea and work into a country by submitting a one-page description including:
• Why do you think this country is relevant for IndieFrame?
• What makes this country interesting globally?
• What is the status of IT and communication technology in the country?
• How would you create knowledge about IndieFrame and create a network of users in the country (competitions, commercials, personal networks etc)?
