As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will be a key member of a team of software developers. The Software Development team is responsible for the full Application Lifecycle Management for all Intelecy products and services.

The Senior Cloud Architect is responsible for the cloud architecture at Intelecy and for directing the architectural aspects of product development and products in operation. Essentially it is a job where you are called on to design something where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Above all, the cloud architect must be a strong communicator and collaborator. No single individual is likely to possess all the necessary technical and nontechnical skills. Therefore, when a skill is lacking, the cloud architect must find a person with said skill and collaborate at a very high level to accomplish important tasks.

Technical:

• Identify and analyze requirements to find best possible solutions
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Back-end development
• Design and communicate good cloud architecture
• Contribute and inspire to have best-in-class application life-cycle management
• Support the Data Science team and Product Development teams with resources and solutions for efficient development
• Automation and orchestration of processes and tasks
• Find good solutions to integration between components across different modules, systems and cloud providers
• Ensure good security, privacy, and compliance with company standards and applicable laws/regulations
• Inspire engineering and product development teams

Knowledge:

Continue to develop and build knowledge and competence in the field of cloud architecture. Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends. Contribute and share knowledge and experience with the team and other employees.

Take an active role in the Cloud Architecture community and build strong networks.

Test and experiment with new technology in safe environments to find new and better ways of solving challenges.

Requirements:

• Support the Product Owner describing features in the backlog.

• Analyze customer systems and technical issues in order to find better solutions.
• Follow the coding standard principles defined by the company for all software development.
• Always adhere to the company’s ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Master or Bachelor degree in Computing Science or similar
• Relevant experience building globally scalable product/SaaS architecture
• Deep understanding of Application Life-cycle Management
• Strong backend development experience and coding skills
• Experience from working in agile development teams
• Extensive practical experience designing and building cloud architecture
• Deep understanding of Databases/Data Warehouses/Data Lakes (Big Data)
• Architecture modeling skills
• Ability to communicate architecture to both developers and non-developers
• Strong position in the Cloud Architecture community
• Solid software development skills
• Experience using different cloud platforms
• Experience with Time Series
• Analytical mind and business acumen
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Software development and testing skills
• Experience using Git
