With the title of Lead UX/UI Designer at Graduateland comes a key position in the development of Graduateland.com with a strong mobile- and app focus. Key areas of responsibility lie within the development of large new products and features, where you will be tasked with exploring innovative UX solutions, designing state of the art user interfaces, identifying usability problems and understanding use cases.

We have been able to heavily expand, growing from 6 to 25 people in 7 years. More than 1M users have created an account at Graduateland and more than 15.000 recruiters have registered as well.

Job Description

• Develop wireframes, sketches, designs, and prototypes
. 
• Design state of the art user interfaces
. 
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and users to deliver amazing experiences
. 
• Be a user-advocate during the entire development process
. 
• There is potential for a large amount of responsibility as a key player in Graduateland.

Current projects

Apart from the overall improvement of the Graduateland experience, we’ll be focusing on some specific projects where you’ll be having the creative lead:

• Mobile app: Every company needs an app, right? Well, that's definitely a statement that can be challenged. But at Graduateland it really makes sense after we introduced Graduateland LIVE where users and recruiters can start online chats wherever they are. Be a part of building the best job search app on the market! 
  
• Onboarding of users: We constantly thrive towards improving the experience for the job seeking users, so job search can be transformed into a playful yet time-efficient experience. You'll have the leading role together with the CPO in how to engage users via products like Graduateland LIVE, Virtual Career Fairs, our CV Builder and more.

Qualifications

• Documented experience with design of user interfaces. 
• Skilled user of the tools from the web designer's toolbox (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Invision, Sketch, Zeplin etc.)
. 
• Excellent understanding of desktop and mobile design
. 
• We would love if you have some basic experience with coding (that means that you know that CSS and HTML are not abbreviations for a new game console - well maybe you've even built your own Wordpress site or the like). - 
• This will smoothen the collaboration with our skilled developers. 
• Our product development is data-driven which means that we take our user data seriously (we use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Optimizely, Inspectlet, Intercom), and use these insights when developing new features. If you have some experience with these tracking tools it would be great! 
• You are creative and ready to solve tasks that haven’t been solved before
. 
• We are located in the über cool tech hub, Startup Village, at Islands Brygge, Copenhagen.
