Working as a Back-end Developer at Linkfire:

We are always looking for passionate back-end developers to join our full-stack Development Teams. Our back-end stack of choice is C#/.NET (with the occasional PHP-legacy work) and we are majorly passionate about our code quality.

As Back-end Developer at Linkfire you will get a chance to take an active role in shaping our products, to take part in the decision making and to find solutions to non-standard challenges in close collaboration with the team members. We are trained at working in SCRUM, pretty much by the book, and are happy to pass this way of working on to you.

As a member of our talented back-end team, you will bring new and valuable experience to help Linkfire serve content to millions of people around the world.

Responsibilities as a Back-end Developer at Linkfire:

• In collaboration with the team, take charge of designs, maintenance, and optimization of our API
• Participate and contribute with feedback in the decision making for back-end implementations
• Optimize code and refactor when needed
• Be able and willing to document your code
• Report any issues you find
• Stay updated on the field of back-end development through attending company training as well as self-education

Abilities and Skills that we are looking for:

• Knowledge of .NET Framework
• Experience working with .NET Web API (or .Net MVC)
• Good knowledge and practical experience in Relational DBs (MSSQL preferred) 
• Knowledge of REST
• Strong execution skills and team player with a strong sense of ownership for your work
• Passion for solving non-standard challenges and creating new solutions
• Attracted by an international environment and fluent in English 
• An advantage but not a requirement is: Experience in using microservices architecture, knowledge of Azure environment, Experience in using Elastic search, knowledge of other back-end frameworks e.g. PHP
• Being familiar with the Scrum framework is a plus

We’re a passionate team of music techies on a mission to make music consumption easier for fans, labels, and artists. The music industry is transforming constantly, the market is fragmented and split into many different platforms and services. 

Physical sales are going down. Legal downloads and in particular streaming are gaining momentum. 

The transformation will continue and the years to come will be very interesting. We want to contribute to the transformation by bringing music and fans closer. Not inside music services, but outside where fans and artists engage. Our approach is to index digital music across music services and provide smart links that route fans directly to the music regardless of their location or which player or platform they use.
