We are looking for a front and back-end lead developer full time. OK, so we’re building a completely new IT product, Kapio, for an industry that falls behind IT integration further than just about every other industry - The construction sector. So we’re lucky to be at the start of something. Something we think will be quite big and you’re welcome to be a part of it.

Kapio is a young product and there is room for you to influence its future. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss your ideas with our company’s senior managers. If your idea makes good sense, it’ll be incorporated. Our developers are the heart of our operation. Every other function is there to support them and our customers. Occasionally, our developers’ programming skills will be pushed to meet tight deadlines whilst achieving bug-free code. Generally though, we set-out a pre-agreed timetable, before coding starts. Developers might be working as part of a small team on large functionality or left to write great code flying solo. For all our people, working hours are quite flexible. As long as the job is being done, we’re quite relaxed about the time you arrive and depart.

REQUIRED

• IT related Bachelor degree or similar
• You must be able to provide evidence of at least 5 years of programming experience; - The right to live and work in Denmark.

MUST HAVE PROGRAMMING SKILLS

JavaScript/TypeScript jQuery AngularJS, Angular 2+ MongoDB HTML5 CSS/CSS3 Node.js

NICE TO HAVE PROGRAMMING SKILLS

• Git (or experience with other source control tool)
• Knowledge about: Azure DevOps & Azure services in general

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for coding, fixing, debugging and (unit) testing the existing web app, from the design to function and according to the specifications. Also managing and leading the development team.

YOU NEED

• To have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards; to operate very independently and be a clear communicator since (s)he will be joining a small team;
• To write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• To understand and reverse engineer legacy code from the current web app; to implement based on specifications and requirements while having a critical mind and within time constraints
• To create and maintain software documentation
• To stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and bring these to the team meetings whenever applicable; to be a team player.

Package:

Up to 50.000 Kr./month

Full-time contract with a initial 3 month trial period
