Let’s face it, invoicing sucks. But it doesn't have to be that way, and that’s something Billogram has already proven. We’ve transformed billing into a positive part of the customer experience, by inventing the digitally shared invoice.

Billogram is a fintech startup whose goal is to transform invoicing from a stale payment request into a shared and interactive meeting place that creates value for both businesses and consumers. In short, we want to move the focus of invoicing from the transaction to the relationship.

We’re rapidly growing, meaning that more money flows through our systems, while more personnel are joining our ranks. So we’re now facing a range of new and demanding financial aspects, which brings us to you...

Today our Finance Department consists of our Finance Manager, but one lucky person now has the chance to team up with our ‘Master of Money’ to help us stay on track.

The role

Being a part of this awesome two-person-team means dealing with a wide range of assignments. As a Financial Assistant, you will both support, and take over some key tasks from our Finance Manager. You will be working with customer and supplier accounts, as well as ongoing accounting and account matching.

As the amount of employees at Billogram continues to grow, we would like you to take on some responsibility for the payroll process, the employee reporting of attendance and similar tasks.

Other important parts of the job includes: preparing financial statements, tax returns and annual accounts.

Who we think you are

You already have financial education and some professional experience from working in accounting, preferably within accounts receivable. You’re confident with the experience you have gained, but long for a challenge with larger responsibility within accounting. You are fluent in Swedish and English, previous experience with filing income tax and VAT returns, is a bonus!

As a person, you are responsible, detail-oriented and accurate. Here at Billogram, self motivation and initiative is key to being a successful and contributing member of the team. Don’t expect to be told exactly what to do, instead create your own work, be curious, look closely at today and make tomorrow more efficient. This also goes hand-in-hand with being a problem solver (you don’t need to be great at Sudoku, but we expect you to tackle most obstacles that may come your way). Are you up for the challenge?
