We are in the search of a thorough and passionate intern for our business intelligence department. The optimal candidate must be curious, self-driven, and creative in his or her approach. Detail orientation is a must-have ability as the candidate will have to navigate a vast amount of data, which is comprised in distinctive ways.

We prefer candidates that hold at least a bachelor-level degree, but given the applicant’s prior skills, this is not a requirement. The study background should be within business, economics, marketing, IT, mathematics, or anything that has provided you with the ability to treat and communicate quantitative input. The primary focus is that the applicant is comfortable within big data analysis.

If you possess the following:

• Experience with SQL/MySQL 

• Super user of the Microsoft Office package, primarily Excel

• Basic knowledge of database setups (Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or the likes considered a plus)

• A natural approach to big data, and the ability to navigate towards concise conclusions (Knowledge of Amazon Web Services/Google Analytics is considered a plus)

• Knowledge of the basic data manipulation and/or statistical skills (Skills within mathematical programming tools as MatLab, R, etc., are not a requirement, but considered a plus)

• Ability to work both autonomously or in teams
