The Role:

In a quickly growing startup, infrastructural challenges arise daily. We are therefore looking to add an experienced operations engineer to our team. In this role you will manage and operate our cloud-based application infrastructure, that powers a global B2B SaaS platform for the digital music industry.

The position involves day-to-day operations of servers and services in Azure and AWS as well as all infosec operations. It also includes the implementation and project management of a number of security policies and systems components.

In the near future, some of these projects are: the implementation of a SIEM platform, setting up VPN infrastructure and a secure small distributed corporate network, establishing new backup and log routines and systems, conducting security reviews across our infrastructure and making sure that we are compliant with our client's security requirements.

You will join our Central Services Team, referring to our CTO on a daily basis as well as sparring with our CPO. These two roles carry the overall responsibility for Information Security at Linkfire.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead and execute infrastructural implementations in relation to our information security
• Manage and operate our cloud-based applications infrastructure
• Manage day-to-day operations of our servers and services in Azure and AWS as well as all infosec operations 
• Lead the implementation and execution of a number of projects on security policies and systems components
• Ensure application monitoring and performance 

Abilities and Skills:

• At least 5+ years of experience with professional network and server operations
• Familiar with cloud computing services such as Azure and AWS
• Excellent understanding of information security issues and solutions - particularly in relation to software development and cloud application operations
• Interested both in managing the implementation projects as well as pulling up your sleeves and configuring our network components 
• You are flexible, diligent and a reliable team player 
• You are not afraid of challenges and are a problem-solver with a solid technical foundation
• You are ambitious and intrigued by working in a start-up with an infrastructure that supports rapid growth
