The Role:

We’ve been running on high-speed for the last two years rebuilding our main system and are now in the process of developing new products for our clients and new components to improve our scalable platform. 

In this role, you'll become an essential part of developing new products as well as developing new core components and help us to improve and maintain these components. You will join one of our full-stack development teams while also being a close interface to our central services team.

To succeed we are looking for a Senior PHP Developer that is capable of leading the development of core components and new products alike and that is motivated by having a higher level of task variation including ad-hoc projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the full-stack team, take on the development of our public platform and support us in exploring Biz Dev opportunities
  • Collaborate with our central service team on building, maintaining and optimizing core components for our scalable platform
  • Participate and contribute with feedback in the decision making for back-end implementations
  • Optimize code and refactor when needed
  • Be able and willing to test and document your code and report any issues you find
  • Stay updated on the field of back-end development through attending company training as well as self-education
  •  

Abilities and Skills:

  • +5 years of Back-end development
  • Fluent with PHP
  • Additional knowledge of .NET is an asset
  • Experience with Laravel is a plus
  • Experienced in Unit Testing
  • Motivated by being given project responsibility
  • Experienced in taking the lead on development
  • Strong executional skills and excellent team player
  • Comfortable with working in an international environment and fluent in English
  • Being familiar with the Scrum framework is a plus
