Do you love languages, young people, and technology? We are a new EdTech working in Norway, Spain, and the UK, focusing on language learning (for ages 14-19 / VGS level students). We partner classrooms and connect them with activities and support so students can connect with native speakers and practice communicating. We are a small team and work closely together. Our Language Education Researcher will work mainly with our Education Director. 

This internship will last from late July / early August until December. There is the possibility for you to stay on longer, if it suits you and the SAMMEN team.

TASKS

--Assist and advise Education Director with the creation of language activities for students (ages 14-19) learning Spanish or English

--Research language education and acquisition to provide SAMMEN with ideas and advice for creating fun, effective language learning activities

--Research and prepare material on topics like language acquisition, language education, etc. for SAMMEN to produce short informative videos for teachers and students 

--Write occasional blog posts for SAMMEN blog
